I predicted this years ago. most of the sane people left new york and we saw that with the increased republican margins in red states in the 2024 election. despite all the people saying "don't california my texas" and predicting doom&gloom for red states, it turns out the transplants were almost certainly even more conservative than the natives. a full embrace of leftist politics in blue states is unironically a good thing. it will lead to even more outmigration which will boost our numbers both in local/state politics for republicans and national politics with respect to reapportionment (which will lead to more electoral college votes and house seats). dems are driving themselves into an electoral abyss
