The A3M1 will probably be cheaper due to dealers trying to move old stock, while the M2 has a better charging handle, a bolt release on the NATO stock if you decide to go that route, and lacks the hump at the front of the receiver that gets in the way of putting extendo rails on the M1, which are all good to have if you decide to get more serious about the platform, not to mention being able to put a relatively modern optic like an ACOG on it.
