They're original characters, but "Shadow" or "Silver" would be the first thing you think of when you see the designs I give them. I mean just look at my own self, I draw my character very heavily reminiscent of Tails. Even though I'd also say and insist that they do stand on their own and stuff, and aren't just copies of what they're inspired by, I know that anyone is gonna see the inspiration clear as day.

But also, a very important detail is that the characters are intended to be human, not Sonic OCs, in the actual project.
