People who didn't get to experience it will never fathom that level of freedom, creator culture, and cooperation. It was a beautiful thing. I only caught the tail end of it myself but it was still a lot of fun. I think opening it up the corporations, brands, and non-Whites/non-Japanese is a big factor in its down fall.
