Well if you go into any East vs. West threads or crossover threads you'll see the before times in the 00's and 10's when PPG, TT, MLAATR, AT, etc. were bigger.
The reason that isn't case anymore? Same reason why /co/ media as a whole has diminished is because talent and money has diminished due to schools being run by morons, the economy in general being harsher towards entertainment now, streaming being unmonentizable, and incompetent showrunners/creators/writers/artists who value the wrong things regarding universal appeal or targeting any specific demographic.
Also Marvel doesn't really try too hard with finding or hiring mangaka who would put forth more substantial work. But I might be mistaken. If anybody could say more about why Fake Red was cancelled I'd like to hear it. I kinda forgot.
