I was rereading the manga because of this daily and whenever I find myself thinking "this part wasn't as bad as I remembered", Murata fucks it up with some pointless change or blowing his load way too early.
What was the point of revealing that Gyorogyoro was actually a hot chick before her fight with Tatsumaki? Or Gyorogyoro telling Phoenix Man that she was the one who created Orochi? Or hell, even revealing the existence of the Monster Association and giving a formal declaration of war during the tournament arc instead of foreshadowing it, keeping the reason behind the monster cells a mystery.
