Unironically I think it might happen next season. The writers have put themselves in a corner by tieing up loose ends all at once and making our Rick special. I think they only thing left they could explore with multiversal Rick's and still make it feel fresh is a genderswap episode, either have Morty/Morticia get mixed up with their Rick's or even make up a situation where Rick/Rita and Morty/Morticia get separated alone with their counterparts and have to survive.
