I have a feeling that this will be the game that breaks the camel's back as far as public perception towards Kojima goes. DS1 may have been "haha there goes the wacky guy again..." and this will further drive home that point. Critically it will do well because Kojimbo's well connected and game journos can't afford to hate on it because they themselves have zero credibility now, but it will not have strong legs for user reviews.

Personally I am looking forward to the game because the first one was surprisingly enjoyable.
