Russia shifts tactics again, assaulting Ukrainian cities with swarms of killer drones – CNN

▪ In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its aerial assaults on Ukraine, launching up to 479 drones and missiles in a single night. These attacks have become not only more frequent and large-scale but also increasingly concentrated.

▪ Drones are now flying in swarms, operating non-stop for three to four hours at a time.

▪ Moscow is reportedly capable of producing around 2,700 Shahed drones per month, along with approximately 2,500 decoy drones.

▪ Over the past four weeks, at least 154 Ukrainians — including children — have been killed in Russian drone and missile strikes. Another 900 civilians have been injured.

▪ These days Russian drones are flying two to five kilometers (1 to 3 miles) above the ground. It has become impossible to shoot them down with machine guns.

▪ Currently, Ukrainian air defenses are intercepting about 80% of incoming drones, down from 95% just a few months ago.
