Meanwhile in Verity's workshop:

The shop shakes and the lights flicker, a few tools clatter to the floor. A distant alarm sounds.
Verity is startled for a moment, then hands Bon Done the explosive charge.
>"I have to go!"
She gallops out of the workshop. Bon Done is alone. She looks around: there is a hatch to the tunnel system and cloth hanging over the entrance to the workshop.
