Also anon forgot to mention that as a new player (and when you play a new killer) there are additional factors. As a new player you start in the middle of MMR. Failing to escape/killer will drop your rank in MMR after a few matches. Each killer also gets an additional MMR factor (survivors do not) if you're new to playing that killer. So you could be a low MMR killer, buy a new killer, and that new killer has slightly raised MMR towards the middle until you've had a few matches to "balance" you out in MMR.
And the best part is this shitty system everyone said from day 1 was terrible will eventually go away for a more complicated one who will also probably be bad because... B H V R . . .
