You're examining that page in a vacuum for some reason. On another page that same chapter Asa admits everyone has some coping mechanism that differs from hers which means so does Denji. Also this latest chapter Asa wants figure out to make Denji happy by thinking it out together with his direct involvement rather than her previous declaration to "save him no matter what" on the train where she's talking to herself.
