i like to think of it as a sort of jewish easter egg. remember jews by their own theology must inevitably address the problem of how to go about ensuring the entire worships their god, without compromising their own status as jews who get to rule above them. they cant must proselytze everyone, or who will till the fields? the famous Aristophanes Assemblywoman's conundrum..
so in order to ensure both things, one must make it to evident jews its fake, while not raising so much suspicion as to engender it among gentiles.
whyd they leave it in? because all of the gentiles who were on their side and had access to the books were fucking pedophiles and didnt think twice about it. the intelligence of these people both jews and their pedophile colleagues are not very high. the christian dark ages were very real. 1500 years later and they still hadnt progressed from aristotle.
fortunately for us they overcompensated in trying to gauge that line, and ended up leaving mark in, which fills in a huge gap in the timeline of how the psyop developed. and allows us to see the editorial process they underwent as they transitioned from a jewish audience to a gentile audience.
youre right though, mark was a categorical fuckup which they never should have kept. the fact they had to rewrite the entire ending (Mark 16:9-20) somewhere in the 3rd century and still use the non-original rewritten ending in bibles today is a pretty big dealbreaker. if i didnt already know christianity was a jewish psyop, that probably would have done it for me.
just within my own lifetime its gone from:
"THE Perfect Word of God"
to
"The Word of God"
to
"The (((inspired))) word of god" - the biblical equivalent of slapping 'based on a true story' at the ending of Schindler's List. literal nonsense. jewish legalese. someone told the story, therefore it happened.
