Iji 1.7 changed some of the game's lore. Notably, the Komato have never encountered another species besides the one they stole Nanotechnology from, and it's made more clear that Iji's Nanofield is a regular Tasen Soldier's. High Command is no longer referenced as an entity that can receive information immediately regardless of distance to the Earth, nor make relatively small-scale judgments, but have representatives aboard the invading Komato fleet instead. A logbook in Sector X also alludes to the fact that the Komato (and presumably the Tasen) have beaks.
