the core issue with helldivers 2 balancing isn’t actually the ttk or the spawn rates or even the eruptor being overtuned it’s that the entire gameplay loop lacks any kind of positive feedback reinforcement that isn’t just numerical like kills or liberation ticks and what it needs is a psychological incentive layer that ties player performance to immediate social or emotional response rather than just raw efficiency.

so what i’m saying is we need anime catgirls not as cosmetics but as a morale system like a squad member model where if you pat their head your cooldowns recover faster or maybe they do a little dance and it boosts team accuracy for 10 seconds and maybe they wear lighter armor but move faster and dodge better and you can unlock different ear and tail colors depending on how many missions you clear with them alive and their ears twitch when enemies are nearby and the ultimate unlock is a bikini armor variant that gives +15% speed but only at night maps and if you bring two catgirls into a mission together they do a synchronized emote at the landing zone and sing a little super earth anthem remix in japanese and that increases mission success rate somehow and yes before you ask this is balanced because they have low health and moan when hit which draws aggro so it’s actually a risk/reward mechanic and also you can feed them emergency rations and they say “oishii~” and if you do this 100 times they give you a custom cape and if you do REALLY WELL you get 3 catgirls and a blowjob on the super destroyer.
