On the general respons to 3rd edition, what I've seen is
>People like the machine gun change, because vehicle machine guns were oppressive and overtuned
>cutting down the numbers of to-hit modifiers was a good call
>Snipers were too good in 2nd, but got nerfed a bit hard in 3rd, so now their only real role is countering Observers
>The move to the multi-platoon structure would feel like a blatant cash grab if it weren't for how everyone I know already had enough vehicles to make an armored platoon. As is, its mostly just tickled the military autism by letting people build historically accurate mortar platoons and shit.
>getting rid of most free units was a good call
>the new sub-army approach like Land, Air, and Sea is okay
>cautious optimism for K47
