I should probably clarify this at some point. The regular "common" tongue doesn't count as a Knowledge (Language), so it does't add any bonus. Languages like Elfish, Dwarfish (which I should probably rename to Dwarfen) do count, even if your character starts with them, based on her race or thanks to Linguist.
