Just because you made a "mistake" and apologized for it doesn't mean you deserve forgiveness, nor does it obligate the person you wronged to forgive you.
When someone does something really shitty and malevolent and then tries to make it seem like it's okay because they regret it or apologized for it, that just makes them look even shittier, like they're trying to subvert responsibility for their actions.
The best thing to do in that case would be to own up to what you've done, admit that it was wrong, admit that it was hurtful and not justified in the least, and that you want to make amends for it. Apologize, but never expect forgiveness, and never expect things to go back to the way they were. Apologize not for yourself, but for the person you've hurt.

Dumb bitch deserves to suffer. Not to be tortured, but to suffer the intense regret of her betrayal, and suffer the consequences of it. Hopefully, she uses that experience to become a more honest, genuine person, but she won't ever be able to undo the pain she inflicted. That's a burden she'll have to live with for the rest of her life. She doesn't deserve forgiveness. No one does.
