Anyway the VITRIOL demo was actually good. People say it's ultrakill VR and they're not wrong. But if you're going to copy a game, copy a good one.
The demo is surprisingly long and it really kicks into gear once you start to get a hang of the controls, which is a bit tricky, but the game does the game design thing where it introduces stuff to you a bit at a time giving you a chance to practice in a safer environment.
I found this game to be awesome and it's one of the two demos this set I actually went back multiple times to keep playing.
