I played the switch version recently and the gameplay was actually not that bad. There was still some depth to the turn-based strategy and boss fights. The story was pretty nothing but I still enjoyed the dumb stuff. Little do people know, but the scene leading up to the FAIAAAA EMUBREMU musical was pretty 1:1 with the 13th Emblem scene in Engage.

I think the game could've been fine on its own, but yeah being advertised as SMT x FE really killed it.
