Yesterday we've had a delicious thread about Blame! on /v/ where numerous Blame!-like games were posted, video game fags are eating good compared to us /tv/ & /co/ fags. Together with that we've reference countless other IPs inspiring from Brutalist architecture and a very obvious artist. Tsutomu Nihei an architecturefag inspires from HR Giger who was also into architecture and numerous other inspirations such as Beksinski. Giger's Shaft is inspired from Brutalist and where Nihei inspired from among the obvious black armour from the xenomorph.

Builders are gigantic robotic automatons that auto-generate the city.
Centuries before the manga opens, when the Administration first lost control of the Safeguards, they also lost control of the Builders. Without any authority to control them or provide them instructions, the Builders have continued building the City since then, creating newer and bigger structures as time passed. However, over time the Builders' programming has degraded, and most of them build entirely random structures with no intended purpose in mind. This is why the City is filled with bizarre, pointless features, such as staircases that go nowhere or straight hallways barred by a door every foot. Do you know who else was an architect and mathematician and created the equivalent of surrealism art? MC Escher.
Then you have Warframe's lore that mimics the space jockeys & engineers. The Orokin discovered the flesh beings known as Warframes and The Tenno are controlling the warframes telepathetically to act as proxy mercenary fleshrobots that have powers & ninja-like skills. Tenno sit in a chair as they control the warframes.
A species of Flood-like beings called "The Infested" were utilized by The Orokin to create the warframes.
