You're right. I watched Hagazussa recently and really liked it but that's not slow cinema, just slow burn. I was mostly curious since I read about Satantango's production a week or two back.

This one's pretty good. They don't deliver much on cosmic horror so don't get misled by the opening Lovecraft quote. I saw it shortly after Color Out of Space though so I probably just went in with the wrong expectations.
