It was like being surrounded in Stalingrad. The police did absolutely nothing to protect anyone and they allowed antifa to do whatever.
A bunch of guys would form a shocktroop band and just go all out on the antifa blockade stopping everyone from escaping the encirclement and then everyone would rush through the breach. This happened twice before everyone was able to get away.
The worst part is the police declared it unlawful and said everyone had to disperse THEN they allowed antifa to surround everyone. The police wanted everyone to get picked off as they tried to leave and they were going to arrest anyone who chose to stay behind to avoid being beaten.
The gigachad shocktroops were all arrested when the fight broke up but they legitimately saved people’s lives that day. The police were nothing but protection for antifa and antifa was allowed to use weapons unmolested.
