I’ve mentioned before but Uma Musume was always meant to be a cross media franchise. There’s was a similar cross media franchise around the same time called Pride of Orange, an ice hockey story. It failed miserable and the mobile game the anime was supposed to advertised pretty much shut down. Kinda sad. In another life we could be discussing the best first line in the game or how it’s retardedly impossible to beat Team Canada.
