He'd probably love it if she followed his example - cause I'm not saying he doesn't genuinely like Pomni. I think he finds it refreshing that there's someone now around who can still appreciate his brand of fun, instead of just getting mad or sad at him. No baggage, no guard up, not so deeply entrenched in her fate that she tries to cling to sad coping methods like everyone else, including him.
But I think he sees an opportunity to get under Ragatha's skin and he's not above using Pomni like a plaything for it. His desire for mischief and breaking stuff has long ago overtaken any commitment he might have had to be a decent person/friend, because what's the point in a hopeless world?
