I wanted to like it too and I can understand spending time on teenagers being teenagers but subjecting me to exposition dumps about a dream multiverse for the last 3 episodes just so you can bring back the RX 79 for the climax is a bit much for me. Even if I forgave the show for baiting and ridding Challia of any feelings for Char in between the movie and the series finale I can't forgive this. It's just garbage.
They should have spent the whole show on a monster of the week formula with the three protags working for different Zeon factions.
