/tv/ has had an active horror general for years that started as October-only but proved popular enough to keep going all year-round and it regularly reaches bump limit within a day or two. I'm not sure how you can even miss it in the catalog. Outside of that the board usually just makes threads about the most mainstream current thing like Smile 2 or 28 Years Later but a lot of them also seem to just genuinely hate the genre especially /film/.
