Everyone is reporting on it. The failure of the film has everyone leaking everything. What you should be asking is how many more of these bombs do they already have in the pipeline. Societal shifts in production don't happen over night. They probably have teams of people trying to "de-gay" all the crap they have in production they thought would be a hit. Everyone remembers the story from years ago about the Disney executive saying she wanted something like half of Disney characters to be gay from now on like her own "trans" children

This was supposed to be a LGBTQIA+ movie but they bent the knee to the conservatives
