I was GENUINELY ready to be Alicent's dickrider from tthe ending of season one knowing what happens because I believe the situation she finds herself in justifiably pushes her into the actions she takes but not only they alienated Book!Alicentfags with this decision, they also completely took all the chance from showfags liking her since all her arc ever amounted to in the end was "dumb woman who did everything wrong and should have trusted Rhaenyra from the start" The show is very morally favored towards Rhaenyra and while they could easily back up the greens' claim to the throne by choosing a mouthpiece, like fucking Cole or even Alicent herself and make them outright fucking say Rhaenyra will put the green kids to the sword to back the claim of her bastard children from Harwin, a truth that the seven kingdoms and then more knows, which isn't disputable in the show (at least there's room for speculation in the book) because their legal daddy is fucking BLACK and there isnt a SPECK of BLACK GENE in those god damn white kids.
