No matter what you say it's very obvious that the casualization of the fgc has broken some people, me included. It's not about playing the old, innovation is about looking towards the future. Wondering how much more depth could be introduced into the next thing. How fighting game will evolve? People thought you couldn't do 4v4 and then ArcSys made that dream real. It's not exactly 4v4 but it's a proof of concept that Capcom thought could never be a reality. this de-evolution we've been going down since 2016 is a world I cannot live in. Only thing I'd love to know is why are people okay would developers calling you "too stupid to play a real fighting game so we dumb it down for YOU"
