Would the big tech YouTube reviewers have been more positive about DLSS4 as a whole, including but not limited to multi-frame-gen, had Nvidia not heavy-handedly tried to control how reviewers define "frames" and all that drama?
I feel like it put a chip on a lot of their shoulders and a lot of them might have been less negative about the state of frame gen if Nvidia had been less controlling.
They also love getting to say a company said something untrue, that really drives clicks, so the "4090 performance in a 5070" may have been a bad play too, but it probably did drive sales so I guess there's a trade-off there.
