>the EXACT semester I join, the school changed the class to digital cameras since that's becoming more of a "thing", and it's cheaper than buying all that film and developing supplies
>the teacher knows jack shit about digital cameras, so we're told just to use auto mode and take pictures based entirely on nothing, just whatever we feel looks "artistic"
>never get to go into the dark room
>never get to use that cool rotating blackout dark room door
>spend the entire semester just learning the Rule of Thirds and do some zero-effort one-click photo editing on PC
>learn literally nothing
>the digital cameras were cheap shit too, didn't even have external lenses like the old cameras we couldn't use

>learn how to code in Flash and HTML
>raw HTML quickly gets replaced by the internet filling up with a gazillion easy tools and generators, and nobody codes HTML from scratch unless they're stupid

>most tech stores also start collapsing as the entire concept of repairing your shit dries up
>the few tech stores left just sell random electronics now and just hire normalfags
>only tech jobs left are long-term with slow turnover rates
