Hes having a melty because he thinks your me. TL;DR months back he went on another "XYZ should exist as it does in my AU which is better and should be canon" rant involving the extinction of Gauss Rifles in the Succession Wars. I responded by pointing out that every magnetic using ballistic weapon (Gauss, UAC5) died in the 2nd SSW, thats what the lore states, and Manic took it that that means I literally know nothing about spooky magic magnetism.
He hates me because I kept calling him out on his bullshit and ban evading.

>Iron Wind METALS can instantly switch over to PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING
Ill have to check but im pretty sure that IWM makes the Premium battlemech minis that CGL sells at events, and im pretty sure those are injection moulded.
That aside
If CGL invested a little into Battletech, as opposed to Laurens porch, they could easily kick up injection moulded minis in the USA. GW make their own minis in the UK, WGA make their minis in both America and the UK, im pretty sure Victrix makes their minis in the UK too. It would be expensive up-front but would soon pay for itself and be cheaper in the long run than buying from Uncle Peng. Your, once again, laughably ignorant on the subject at hand.

Speaking of, CGL could do sprues with 4-6 mechs and parts to make 1-2 variants each pretty easily, then sell the parts to make other variants in metal. For omnimechs they could sell he base sprue that contains the parts for the Prime and some other bits, then sell sprues of IS and Clan omnipods/weapons. It would be cheaper than their current production method, cheaper to package, and cheaper to ship, and people would love it.

Anyway, pic arrived today
