Thankfully they actually are starting to phase her out, unlike Knuckles who's always gonna be a mainstay. With the IDW trannies on their way out the door, and Sonic Team quickly losing interest in her character, and her fans losing all goodwill with the lest of the fandom, she's pretty much done for. All she has left is the movie, her swan song, where she'll either be "outdated unlikable Mary Sue girl boss" or "meh" with no in-between.
