Digimon's season 1 in general is incredible. I highly encourage anyone who hasn't seen it since childhood to watch it as an adult, subbed. Through a more mature lens you get a much better grasp of everything and can appreciate its aims a lot more.
It's a really well directed show, episode 21 especially.
