A girl randomly texted me after a month of radio silence. I asked if she was coming to a certain party, which she confirmed. However, she brought an uninvited friend and never talked to me. She wasn't obligated to come, drove her own car, and stayed really late. I think this was a taunt.
I went to a Catholic meetup, but I was monopolized the entire time by a guy. I learned about a Catholic speed dating event, which I was pretty excited for until I learned that they'd temporarily frozen registration for men, which obviously means that there weren't enough interested women. I'm going to have to do this the hard way by going to the church's young adult group.

Finally, while helping my dad shop for groceries, I saw this beautiful girl working in the bakery. I'm not someone who stares at girls like a creepy pervert, but this was the first time in forever that I've actively had to resist not sneaking glances at someone. An average person may not have considered her a supermodel, but there was something about her that, in my eyes, gave off Manic Pixie Dream Girl vibes. However, I didn't say anything because cold approaches are risky, and it would be awkward with my dad there. However, while we were in the checkout line, the bag of bread burst open. That gave me an excuse to go back to the bakery alone, but I chickened out because I didn't know what I would say, although I did come up with some good lines on the way home. If the bag randomly splitting was a minor miracle, I'm going to have a lot to answer for in the afterlife for this legendary bag-fumbling event.

I haven't bothered trying any apps yet. I'd be playing them on hard mode due to living in a small town in a blue state as a Christian, libertarian-leaning conservative, secret nerd, and person with a medicated disability. I live in a blood red district, but it seems like every local girl either gets married out of high school or gets turned into a liberal at university and moves to the city.
