there's a surprisingly decent scene but random netplay lobbies are limited to specific hours from what I've seen. There seem to be one or two EU lobbies most nights, and there's a few on and off weekly events.
Alive but if you want to play low ping matches at all hours you might need to join a discord or something. If you can tolerate EU to EC connections then it's probably fine most of the time.
