I'm actually kind of amazed by just how much boss damage the bolt pistol shits out, even without the extra +20% node near the bottom. Even the dog is contributing surprisingly much damage. Keep in mind that Power DI doesn't even track dog damage correctly, it's probably at least twice that since it counts some of it as melee damage.
