WoW is beloved by the people who only care for raids in MMOs. FFXIV ended up replacing WoW as the MMO and it is even worse about it than WoW was.

I think having more effort put into the open world isn't an unreasonable request considering how big the game was, and that's not the only thing that could get me to come back. Unfucking the job design and having a good story would go a long way
