I don't why but this made me kind of realize something: perhaps concerningly as a straight male, I relate to Ashley the most out of anyone in this game. I at one point in my youth was universally despised by my peers for being loud, weird, and annoying. And felt as if literally everyone in my life had failed me without actually giving me a chance. It also took my awhile to realize my parents were the crux of the problem. Unlike her, I didn't really take solace in another family member since none of them were close to my grade level and didn't go to the same schools. All things considered, I mellowed out eventually and turned into a functioning (albeit broken) member of society.
