The Alters was one of the games that had the most potential from this year. Turns out it's AIslop. Supporting AIslop is giving the green light for developers of vidya to use AI, and telling them that they get a competitive edge for doing so. I do not want to live in an industry where AIslop reigns. Everything will get worse. I'm not interested in rewarding proompting and cost cutting.

I am never buying a game from 11 Bit Studios ever again. This War of Mine, Frostpunk 1 and Frostpunk 2 are the only games of theirs that will ever be on my steam library. What a fucking shame. This is the first time AI slop wasn't just a nebulous threat but something that affected a game I was actually interested in.
