its Warren Ellis through and through and from 2009 so it being a 'deconstruction' of the super hero genre was the bleeding edge of edgy comics.
still it holds its place in my heart because someone storytimed it here on 4chan a summer evening ages ago and edgy and sci-fi was the peak of my interests then so I guess it's pretty groovy.
the indian sub-continent gets decimated so thats a plus
