So the the main girl's boyfriend just fucking died? I was waiting for a post credits scene where they are like this.

The thing about her parents was also never explained, I think. Where's the dad? Did he betray the mom and they ended up killing each other or what? Was she raped by a demon? Was the dad a demon to begin with? Maybe the mom was just whoring around, then her regular human baby got corrupted by dark forces in her womb.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the demon lore in this movie made little to no sense to me. It's weird how that ex demon hunter lady who's also the protagonist's surrogate mother and the girls' mentor I guess only showed up in like 2 scenes and didn't really explain jack. I thought she was dead or something. What happened to her friends?

And it's a Netflix original, so it's not like they are gonna make a sequel that explains any of this shit.
