I always had this idea for a mega-crossover film where the Captains basically go back in time to the origin of the Borg
>Delta Quadrant in the past
>alien planet with humanoids which is like a near-future pre-Utopia where they're just getting Elon Musk brain chips
>promises to unite the global population with instant communication
>the head of the military suspiciously played by a Borg Queen actress who is kinda evil-looking and obsessed with winning a final victory over the planet's other remaining superpower in order to unite the planet under one government
>she insists on a 'back door' in the brain chips where the military can influence people for their own good, (eg. Rapid city evacuation), to only be used in an 'emergency' of course
>meanwhile back in the present future, the Borg have somehow been taken over by the Pah-Wraiths, or formed some alliance or some shit, so they are flying around in glowing red cubes that are more powerful than green ones
>Janeway and Picard are called in as experts on Borg
>Sisko, still on ice, will eventually be called back into the mix by the Prophets
>Earth in peril
>Utilising information from Seven of Nine, they travel back into the past to find a way to prevent the Borg/Wraith connection, but the Wraiths hit them with a beam that sends them back to their origin instead, (or maybe the Prophets helped)
>In the past the Borg Queen is using her 'emergency' powers accidentally creating the Borg, becoming their queen in the process, (more than what she bargained for)
>Borg start assimilating local planets in their system truly becoming something greater
>high focus on Janeway/Queen bitch fight, Picard overcoming assimilation fear/trauma
>Janeway finally detonates Omega particle to destroy local subspace for multiple parsecs trapping the Borg at sublight, slowing their expansion, and pissing off the Queen who will remember and meet her in the future
>Sisko defeats the Wraiths forever, in the process fulfilling his destiny
