>>213330232 (OP)Getting back to my idea from last thread, how would you script an episode where the Vorta are forced to interact with "wild" Vorta that never had anything to do with the Founders?
>>213330431Wouldn't it just be a total downer episode because the wild Vorta would find out that their showing kindness and compassion to a Changeling resulted in their genetic enslavement?
>>213330502This would maybe be set after Section 31 took care of the CQ, where the remaining domesticated Vorta are struggling with a quadrant that hates them and now has no reason to hold back.
>>213330529Hmm yeah maybe the ones left dedicate themselves to trying to find the last remaining changelings that were sent out and hopefully didn't die from the illness. So they're just spreading out to the
farthest reaches of the quadrant in search. Mite b cool
>>213330389Its been a long road....
>>213330389>>213330727that road was TOO long!
their time wasn't finally near, it was already up.
>>213330673I like where this is headed. It gave me an idea that the tame Vorta discover a changeling, but then it dies, and the Vorta find out they're carriers of the Section 31 virus, so they have to gain the cooperation of the wild Vorta to help purify their genetic material or something. And by this time the wild Vorta have become the top dogs in some smaller Dominion-analogue group, so they can't just be forced into helping.
>>213330232 (OP)A show idea that could be interesting is if we followed a commodore, or similar officer who commands a fleet of ships, instead of just a captain with one ship.
>>213331018>gain the cooperation of the wild Vorta to help purify their genetic materialYou lost me here. what help would they possibly be if they don't even know what a Founder is? and then when they do find out, why would they want to help such a people? it would have to be some kind of plot like the tame Vorta trying to indoctrinate the wild ones into their cult or something.
also I'm reminded of when they said their "best Vorta doctors" were working around the clock for a cure. there's so many plotholes when you even spend 2 seconds thinking about the Dominion. you're telling me the Founders, with all their subjugated races and planets in their entire literal DOMINION didn't have anyone better to work on the cure for the GENOCIDAL ILLNESS than the fucking VORTA?
>>213331224>>213331018wait i misread your post. the virus also affecting the Vorta is a bit too dumb i dunno bout that
>>213331356We can just say S31 made a variant that vorta could carry to help ensure more changelings got infected.
>>213331395but I thought the virus was sexually transmitted. how prepared are you to commit to this idea anon?
>>213331224The Vorta and Jem'Hadar were the only ones they trusted, and they couldn't really rely on the k-heads.
>>213331449so you put the Jem'Hadar on a planet full of genius scientists and tell them for every hour that passes and there's no cure one of their family dies
>Jay-Den
Pppppssshhh ha ha ha ha
>>213331587Is he a hybrid? Klingons don't have 2 names like that
has any episode in Star Trek ever addressed the fact that you can clone people using the pattern buffer on the transporter?
>>213331663plenty of times only clone i remember is riker's
>>213331587I really can't get over how fucking terrible the make-up looks.
It's like they decided to make it as light and non-textured as possible so the guy wouldn't have to sit for longer than an hour to put it on. Looks so awful.
>>213331587OH NO NO NO
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>213331663You can make fucking combi-people from two different individuals of different SPECIES.
And then Captain Janeway will kill them, but still. If it can happen once it can be repeated.
I was excited for Star Trek Picard but the show was so bad Istopped watching
>>213331835I had only watched TNG before (for the first time in like, 2011) and when Discovery came out I was like, "oh okay cool I'll watch this!" but even with my limited exposure I knew it was not Star Trek and I stopped watching after like 4 episodes. Anyone who think it's just "geezers" and stubborn trekkies who don't like this shit is delusional. It is straight up not good.
>>213331835It has Picard in it, how bad could it be?
>>213331954>how bad could it be?
>>213330969>Bakula is a huge hockey fan>personal friends with Luc Robitaille and most of the LA Kings, Luc brings the Cup to the set when Detroit wins in 02>hur my kid's in university water polo so let's make Archer a water polo fan
>>213331985that's probably the literal least thing wrong with Archer. I haven't watched Voyager yet but literally only Kirk didn't have some sport they were really into
Why can't they just make more TNG, with regular people?
Like fit, attractive, healthy, well adjusted people with a strong sense of community, cooperation, and social adhesion looking to use their pluck, their smarts, and their understanding (both in terms of compassion and comprehension) to solve complex problems?
>>213332030Fuck you bigot. Star Trek is about homosex and crying now.

I like this Chimera episode with the changeling. He's calling out Odo on being a simp for solids.
>>213332030There is no money in making tv, but they know the type of "person" who pays for streaming and they dont want them to cancel the $20/month autopay
>>213332131he's being an absolute and total cunt. why do you like that?
>>213332183Because solids are bigger cunts
>>213332014Archer's great once you realize he has an arc over the series. He's a smug astronaut from a sheltered paradise who literally can't imagine the danger he's charging out into, and then gets basically beaten and bruised into becoming Kirk over years of failure
The moments early on when he's slowly realizing this are kino
>>213332321they're really not. There are so many fucking dozens of different races who have accepted and befriended Odo and even loved and married him full well knowing he is just actual goo and all Laas offers is like
>you know you have the ability to antagonize and terrorize these people if you wanted to and act like a total sociopath? Yeah fucktard, LITERALLY anyone can do that. of ANY race.
>>213332400Typical anti-changeling sentiment.
>>213332354he never becomes Kirk. fucking kill yourself for even forming that thought let alone putting it for me to read on the internet.

>>213332321Solids physically embody the one thing changelings can never truly have or understand - order.
This makes them seethe and act like jealous cunts all the time.

>>213332422>autism speaks>no he doesn't he is a different man with a different face!!!!S1 Archer is a naive astronaut who gets his ass kicked figuratively and literally all over space, causing diplomatic incidents and casualty events everywhere he goes
S4 Archer has become, through bitter experience, a seasoned warrior-diplomat who's equally at home exploring space, negotiating a treaty between antagonistic species, blowing up another ship or hand to hand combat, aka Kirk
>>213332096>>the michael bolton openingat least in their defense they'd planned for it to be that Calling song they were using in the promos, but forgot to lock down the TV rights before Smallville did (lol)
>>213332599Archer literally never, ever, ever, ever, ever learned from experience. He gets manipulated, fucked, duped, kidnapped, tricked, trapped, embarrassed, used, abused by aliens
every
fucking
time.
It's almost like his fetish or something. Kirk has a fucking brain. Archer never grew one throughout the entire show.
>>213332599>>213332662yeah I was about to say, Archer doesn't learn shit and is still getting duped in S4
>>213332030This is the winning formula they nailed 30 years ago but can't seem to do it anymore
>>213331713It happened to the Boimlers too.
THE VERY LAST episode of Enterprise where anon claims Archer is literally Kirk involves him getting entangled in the personal affairs of a guy who has lied to and tricked him multiple times, lecturing his first officier about rightfully not trusting this person, and ultimately resulting in the death of his chief engineer. inb4 it was all a holodeck story that didn't happen FUCK YOU
Archer should be fucking shot in the head I actually fucking hate him he is the worst Star Trek captain there could ever possibly be.
As a reminder to all Vulcans: Even the most doughy skinned, congenial, kind-eyed human science officer (male or female) takes little inducement to become an animalistic sex fiend straight out of our most bawdy ancient poems.
As you well know, humans are known to have sex several times a day, often for hours at a time.
Plan your week accordingly.
Additionally there are numerous romantic holidays within the human calendar, but even outside these traditional coupling ceremonies you should prepare for the possibility of being lavished with attention by a human mate.
They're likely to ask you about your thoughts, your feelings, attempt to find out your interests while also sharing their own interests; they may give you intensely personal gifts or offerings of something humans have called "chocolate"; many Vulcans find this level of "caring" to be an intense breach of our carefully constructed boundaries, and may elicit powerful primordial emotions within you: irrational and intense attachment, a desire to breed even outside Pon Farr, and an overall weakening of inhibitions.
While it is well known that humans have a particular powerful odor, what's often not discussed is that human pheromones (while intense) can also be addictive. The chemicals released by humans (particularly when aroused) can bypass even the most stalwart Vulcan's mental conditioning, again resulting in intense primordial, primitive feelings of intense desire. Numbing of the nasal passages is recommended until one acclimates to, as humans themselves call it, "that good stink", a colloquial acknowledgement of the powerful drug-like sex chemicals that humans secrete from their skin.
Our next lecture will be on how to deal with the often intense sensations during copulation. Humans, as a naturally curious species with minimal regard for Vulcan boundaries, in concert with the habit of asking for your feedback, are notoriously good at inducing dangerously powerful orgasms.
>>213332662>>213332707>Archer literally never, ever, ever, ever, ever learned from experienceYou can watch basically any episode from each season and see the development
S1 he's knocking over tables and causing incidents everywhere because he's an honest and well-meaning rookie who has no idea what he's doing
S2 he's realizing how badly over his head he's in, and relying more on the Vulcans who he understands had a point
S3 it's desperation time, has to not only fight and survive but convince an enemy to make peace with him, because his one little ship isn't going to stop an entire advanced civilization and their weapon
S4 he's stomping out fires that could cause interstellar war, while putting together an alliance of hostile species, which would grow into the Federation
Niggas how did this go over your head
>>213331748>>213332470it's tragic that they will 100% mess this up. when they try to give the Jem'Hadar some history, they will destroy them
"before the Founders came to our planet..."
"After we got our freedom..."
here's a fun experiment.
try to imagine the WORST backstory possible for the Jem'Hadar. you don't have to watch the show, just ask someone who did later, to find out how much worse it actually was
>>213332887The real series finale of Enterprise was Terra Prime, a two-parter where the whole crew saves the day and the Coalition of Planets is formed
That garbage ass holodeck episode was some "love letter to fans" that was literally set in TNG
>>213332898Not those guys (obviously); You are correct. Archer isn't my favorite captain but he absolutely DOES grow over the course of the show.
He's kind of petulant and overly chummy with his crew in S1, sort of like that boss that is so focused on team building and being friends with everyone that he loses sight of doing boss things.
Later on this improves, with him actually taking charge and delegating responsibility.
>>213331748This is what happens when you take ketracel while pregnant.
Uh oh Harry Kim has a romantic interest, this can't possibly end well
>>213332997>>213333004I bet a lot of the nerd asspain over Captain Bush in the first seasons would've been lessened if they'd been better at communicating that idea, that it's the story of Archer becoming the archetypical Starfleet captain, and T'Pol becoming more human
Kirk and Picard are the products of a century-plus of experience and tradition, and just like safety rules 100% of that comes from someone having a horrible experience. So we got to see the first guy making all the mistakes
>>213332935>worst possible backstoryThey were a matriarchal primitive culture of noble gatherers, never engaging in warfare or hunting, they lived peacefully as large familial groups governed over by fat niggresses.
They relied on natural remedies and ancient traditions, invoking the mystical spiritual powers of nature to provide healing and a bountiful harvest of their primary food source: Metrecel Black, a high pigment food source that made their original bodies all black (as opposed to their current white appearance).
After they got their freedom, males of the species returned to their rightful place tending to the fields while the matriarchs set about establishing a new culture bereft of honor, martial prowess, or adherence to authority.
They've recently sent their fattest, blackest, niggest Kween'Hadar to the Academy in the hopes of convincing the rest of the quadrant to do the same with their own males.
>>213331835We all were anon. We all were
I'm sorry I really don't care what happens in ENT and I like that show despite all the stupid shit but comparing Archer to Kirk is a bridge too fucking far. Kirk is so fucking compotent it's sick. He is such the ideal for the type of person you want for this time of mission. He is a type of well rounded chameleon who can adapt to whatever is needed of him in the moment. He can be inspiring. He can be a hardass. He can be a sweetheart. He can be the bad guy. He can be the best friend. He can be the comedian. He can be smartest guy in the room. And you buy it. TOS was so amazing for making a character like that. To say Archer is that is so FUCKING offensive to me. The writing is not that. The acting is not that. The entire concept is not that. He is literally some nepobaby nobody wanted but the got the job because the actual first pick was insane, didn't follow orders and blew up the ship. I can't express this any harder: FUCK. ARCHER.
Kim fucked an alien way to go Kiiiim.
>nutrek baby so mad hes crying
>>213333150Kirk's the product of a century of Starfleet experience that started with Archer
What Kirk learned in the Academy was all based on Archer's fuckups and lessons. The best captain stood on the shoulders of the first captain
>He is literally some nepobaby nobody wanted but the got the job because the actual first pick was insaneThat was a missed opportunity imo, Archer should've had doubts about whether he was the right pick for the job because of that. I know they had the episode where the actual best captain taught him what was up and then damaged his own career, but still
Archer had faith of the heart
>>213333464>What Kirk learned in the Academy was all based on Archer's fuckups and lessonsNO IT WASNT BECAUSE ARCHER FUCKED UP THE SAME FUCK UP OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. No one with a fucking BRAIN would teach what Archer did as the example to follow. He is the textbook RETARD that even a LAYPERSON AKA THE VIEWER could do better than! That's why he is the ONLY captain in Star Trek I ever fantasize about what i would have done differently if I were him because it's SO FUCKING OBVIOUS to even a DUMB person that he SUCKS.

>>213333671>>213332887I literally just finished watching it a week ago. You're retarded.
>>213332898Currently just at the very start of S3 in my watchthrough so I'll let anons with a more fresh perspective on ENT argue about it but that's definitely how I remember it
Archer was the least impressive captain to me. Also hated the way he treated his crew.
>>213332030that just sounds like the expanse, except not with well adjusted people
>>213333761>The Expanse is like TNGIt's alright, anon, but no, it's not anything like TNG. It's a rag-tag crew of etc etc, not a professional crew aboard a starship answering to the same code of duty and law
>>213333789>it's not anything like TNGI know it's not, but that second sentence is basically the expanse
>>213330297She shows her bush in Kalifornia so there's that.
Up next is Badda Bing Badda Bang which should've been titled Badda Bing Badda Boom
>>213333829I only watched I think the first two seasons but I don't recall it trending in that direction. Honestly the show didn't grab me and as I was watching it, they jettisoned that Indian guy for using his fame to get laid at a convention. It was one of the most retarded things I saw from the whole MeToo thing so it helped me drop the show (I started watching it late)
>>213333877>they jettisoned that Indian guy for using his fame to get laid at a convention.who?
>I don't recall it trending in that direction. basically the entire show is "we're about to die/millions of people are about to die, how do we use our skills and experiences to prevent that"
>>213331835Season 3 was the swan song the TNG cast never got in the movies. Ignore all the rest of the show, just watch Picard Season 3 and enjoy.
>>213333709>S3 and S4 went over his head
>>213333908Am I thinking of the wrong show here? The Indian guy was the Martian pilot. During the MeToo thing two women claimed he used his celebrity to influence them into having sex with him at a convention, saying he was a star of the show.
Somehow, this was enough to get him canceled and they immediately killed off his character. A lot of people were pissed about it.
>>213334015can you please point out where what I said was wrong? thanks
>>213333715>Archer was the least impressive captain to me.That's because the whole point of the series is him going from a overconfident astronaut to the archetypical Starfleet captain
The Vulcans are 100% right, humanity is not at all ready to go charging out into a galaxy they do not understand full of dangers they can't imagine. He's basically forced to git gud at the cost of a bunch of lives and his own self-respect. That's how they sold the role to Bakula in the first place
Every other captain in the franchise is an experienced officer of a centuries-old elite paramilitary organization. Archer is a very bright and brave but completely naive guy from an unknown backwater that hasn't had poverty or conflict in generations, protected by a benevolent major power. He has to become what the other captains started as
>>213334096me:
>didn't watch S3 and S4you:

>you managed not to observe the most obvious character arc in the franchiseIf you think S4 Archer is the same dude as S1 Archer because they have the same face, you are autism personified
>>213334076is that why they killed off his character? I assumed he died in the books too
>>213334129so, you can't. which was obvious already to everyone. cool
>>213334129what part of this is wrong?
>>213332887>THE VERY LAST episode of Enterprise where anon claims Archer is literally Kirk involves him getting entangled in the personal affairs of a guy who has lied to and tricked him multiple times, lecturing his first officier about rightfully not trusting this person, and ultimately resulting in the death of his chief engineer.
>>213334170>explain to me how the most obvious character change happened, which I somehow managed not to notice over literal hours of watching the showThat's a tall order, autisanon, watch a random episode of S4 and then go watch a random episode of S1. One guy's a Starfleet captain doing Starfleet captain stuff, the other guy's an astronaut accidentally setting fires and causing diplomatic incidents between species he's just met
>>213334239>b-b-but w-what about that h-holodeck episode of TNGlmao desperate
That's an episode about Riker doing a Holodeck program on the 1701-D

We've been able to do that with machinima for ages, and now we can use AI text-to-video. Stop pretending Hollywood is special, and do it yourself. >just make your own Trek show with AI
This might be possible when I'm like 170 years old like Dr. McCoy but somehow I don't think I'm going to make it that long.
I haven't seen a single AI generated video that wasn't complete shit, or very obviously fake, or riddled with oddities and errors and well, that technology is just incredibly limited right now. Keep plugging away at it, though, and it'll improve one day.
But not as soon as you think.
>>213334842DS9 is extremely reddit. Sisko even just went on a rant about how negros weren't allowed in 1960s Vegas. Gimme a break. It's 2482 or something. You're at war. It's so Reddit it's painful. >>213335251TNG has an episode where everyone is fighting over a superweapon that you can become immune to through letting go of the hatred and bigotry in your heart.
I'd say TNG has more episodes about things like that than DS9 does. Just instead of Measure of a Man where the issue of slavery is masked in Data being an android, it's just more on the nose in DS9 with Far Beyond the Stars and.. well really just that episode and the weird comments about Vegas.

>>213338978I don't think it was ever said or implied that the connie was the flagship, but it was definitely stated at some point in TNG. I'm pretty sure romulan g'kar at some point makes mention of his intent to display the broken hull of the flagship of the federation (ent: d) in the romulan capitol
>>213339406every time I hear that line I imagine this massive plaza miles wide displaying a dozen gigantic trophies of victories
>>213330431The Dominion Vorta treat them like pagan savages who need to hear the 'good news' of the Founders. It writes itself.
With unironic parallels of uber-Christian colonialists meeting indigenous populations in an unwoke old skool Star Trek thought-provoking kinda way.
>some neglected/forgotten planet/moon/area used by the early Founders for genetic testing and selective breeding of the Vorta species>maybe rejected and left to fend for themselves for whatever reason, unsuitable, low IQ, independent, animalistic>discovered by uber-Dominion Vorta fag like Weyoun>in far outer region so he can't contact Founders directly about it, and tries to interact with them>sorta part of the programming of the Dominion Vorta to propagandise the idea the Founders are gods to other Vorta, so you find out their belief is self-reinforcing when you put Vorta in groups, but in this story plays out as missionary preaching/conversion/crusade>'Weyoun' offended they don't worship the Founder and tries to convert them>hilarity and shit ensues>maybe one of the wild Vorta are based on Weyoun's genome, (because Jeffrey Combs doesn't have enough parts to play in DS9 already).I think the underlying theme and plot should be based on the IRL North Sentinel Island and known interactions and incidents with them, (the island has probably the last remaining uncontacted humans on Earth). They react violently to outsiders due to previous interactions going sour, and the Indian government has laws against contacting them for 'muh cultural preservation' or some shit. Personally I think it's a travesty. Imagine if you were a kid on that island with an IQ of 150, living like a primitive, and then later you found out about the real world, computers, and robots and shit - and that some faggots kept it from you out of some hippy-dippy 'noble savage' ideal, leaving you scratching around in the dirt in the CURRENT YEAR. I'd be fucking pissed.
Perfect philosophical conflict for old skool Trek.
>>213339229Appears to be a nuTrek thing.
Guess can be ignored.
>>213339464Now that would be something epic to see.
>>213339506Actual plot:
>Weyoun finds wild Vorta>initially thinks they are normal Vorta shipwrecked or something, and hilarity ensues when he finds out they don't worship the Founders and don't know what he's talking about with Dominion shit>Feels the need to preach Founder shit to them, with the very noble intention of bringing them up to speed on 24th Century shit so they can join their rightful place and know the joy of serving the Founders too>Kinship with them magnified by running into wild genetic original 'Weyoun', (they have a narrow genetic variation due to genetic manipulation due to technobabble bullshit)>Their resistance to his training has the Jem'Hadar trigger happy about just exterminating them all for their heathenism and heresy, but Weyoun continues to defend them, so drama and hilarity ensues>'Ug Weyoun's logical pushing back against the preaching gives Dominion Weyoun pause and we see a little waver in his faith >In the a Founder does show up in response to the message, recognises them as a past failed experiment thought eradicated, and orders them all destroyed ... right when it seems like Weyoun was just getting through to 'Ug Weyoun' - like he sees how he reacts to the Founder on sight with awe - only to have his god order his extermination over Weyoun's attempt to object.>Weyoun sees 'himself' die ... yet again>Dramatic Combs death and last words as he dies in his own arms saying some shit to the effect of dying happy because he saw a Founder>So experiment wasn't a total failure after all, and Weyoun almost saved them ... but he's a little disturbed by what he saw, and the two of them kind of switched places at the last second in terms of their faith, Ug Weyoun became a believer, and surviving Weyoun is unsure>Which if slotting this incident into the timeline right could be the impetus for the doubts/defections seen in other Weyouns.>Founder side-eyes Weyoun sensing it, but saying nothing as they board the ship to leave
>>213339760funny I was going to post something very similar except it involved sisko or really any fed character maybe bashir being their as well and trying to convince them that weyoun is wrong and the founders aren't gods, I had the same ending as you did except it included bashir looking on in frustration and defeat when he realized right at the end they did see the founders as gods, so fuck you I guess I just deleted my entire write up because its too similar to yours.
Things I wanted to see in the TNG movies
>Picard/Crusher romance
>Romulan/Vulcan unification
>Riker with his own command
>Dominion War/DS9 crossover
Anything more you would add?
>>213339863yeah a dune buggy chase
>>213339863A romulan plot that isn't retarded, and worf could be their because he's the Klingon ambassador and you could get a Klingon vs romulan but, something that's always referenced but never really shown
>>213339816You should post it or do a pass on mine. Obviously you'd be unlikely to get an episode of DS9 that hyper-focused on just a few Dominion characters - funny as it would be to see Combs actually playing most of the characters in an episode. So naturally you'd have to include other members of the main cast. Sounds like you have the right idea there, and the more ideas the better.
>>213339863Wormhole travel to alpha quadrant in big motion picture style
>>213339955too late here but yea a combination I like your idea f weyoun being stunned by the founder killing them and having his faith shook it ties in well with my bashir idea since in a way both of them have there beliefs shook in different ways, as both of them have been proselytizing against each other throughout the episode in the end an understanding passes between them
>>213339968WOW a wormhole created by ILM would be amazing. I imagine a tunnel effect like In the Mouth of Madness, or Event Horizon
>>213339935>>213339863Unification could have been a good starting point for a Romulan plot. It came up so often in TNG, I thought eventually it would lead somewhere.
That would have been a good excuse to have Leonard Nimoy in the movie as well, I know they really wanted him to cameo in what ended up becoming Generations.
>>213340411my thoughts exactly everyone is meeting on romulus for unification talks, shenanigans ensue
>>213340471Shit if they really wanted that dumb ass Shinzon in the movie, that still would have been a better set up
>>213339863I always had this idea for a mega-crossover film where the Captains basically go back in time to the origin of the Borg
>Delta Quadrant in the past>alien planet with humanoids which is like a near-future pre-Utopia where they're just getting Elon Musk brain chips>promises to unite the global population with instant communication>the head of the military suspiciously played by a Borg Queen actress who is kinda evil-looking and obsessed with winning a final victory over the planet's other remaining superpower in order to unite the planet under one government>she insists on a 'back door' in the brain chips where the military can influence people for their own good, (eg. Rapid city evacuation), to only be used in an 'emergency' of course>meanwhile back in the present future, the Borg have somehow been taken over by the Pah-Wraiths, or formed some alliance or some shit, so they are flying around in glowing red cubes that are more powerful than green ones>Janeway and Picard are called in as experts on Borg>Sisko, still on ice, will eventually be called back into the mix by the Prophets>Earth in peril>Utilising information from Seven of Nine, they travel back into the past to find a way to prevent the Borg/Wraith connection, but the Wraiths hit them with a beam that sends them back to their origin instead, (or maybe the Prophets helped)>In the past the Borg Queen is using her 'emergency' powers accidentally creating the Borg, becoming their queen in the process, (more than what she bargained for)>Borg start assimilating local planets in their system truly becoming something greater>high focus on Janeway/Queen bitch fight, Picard overcoming assimilation fear/trauma>Janeway finally detonates Omega particle to destroy local subspace for multiple parsecs trapping the Borg at sublight, slowing their expansion, and pissing off the Queen who will remember and meet her in the future>Sisko defeats the Wraiths forever, in the process fulfilling his destiny
>>213340568Congrats on proving that thereโs at least one person who could ruin Star Trek even worse than Alex Kurtzman.
>>213340649Aw shucks.

>>213335378yeah that jaw that comprises 50% of her head and that receding hairline are just adorable
>>213340568That's too much. They barely had enough money and time to write anything worthwhile for 5/7 cast members to do,so three captains?
If you split that idea into two - let's say Star Trek 8 & 9 are DS9 and VOY crossovers respectively, I think that would be more logical.
I don't know how to blame in this regard, wether it's Rick Berman or Paramount, but they did not utilise the world they created in the spin offs what so ever.
>>213340411>I know they really wanted him to cameo in what ended up becoming GenerationsThat's why he turned down Generations, for he was too good for a cameo.
>>213339406The EntD is repeatedly called the Federation flagship so I assume whoever wrote that jsut guessed and said every Enterprise was
>>213340852I heard he was offered to direct as well, but he requested the script to be changed.
He just knew straight away Generations would be a stinker. Nimoy was so smart and versed in this world of Star Trek.
I miss him

>>213341671At first I was like, oh yeah I don't know what those anons are talking about I kinda like the wallpaper.
But now I see I was wrong, this looks horrible, it should be used sparingly in small sections, keep it behind the TV and paint the rest with solid colors and for the love of god paint your ceiling white.

You feeding shitty text prompts and generating some guy who doesn't look like Captain Kirk with 8 fingers on each hand turning slightly to the left in an 6 second clip isn't improving anything other than your already-existing delusions of grandeur.

that whole episode felt like an awful fan-fiction made by somebody who has only seen a little bit of actual Star Trek. a lot of dumb moments where the writer must have been thinking "oh! this will be so cool!" with nobody to tell them how terrible it was.
the ending was BS, the colonists made the cube self-destruct, to "save" Voyager. but Star Trek clearly established (IN the Wolf 359 episode where these colonists should have died) that the Borg cannot do that. they can't willingly destroy parts of themselves "it's like trying to cut off your own finger, you just can't do it!" it would have been so much easier for Voyager crew to have put a "just in case" remote-bomb on the cube. (including fail-safe detonation technobabble, Borg won't be able to detect or disarm blah blah) and in the end it was Voyager that had to destroy it
whoops, I forgot. if Voyager had remote bombs they could have put one on the Caretaker and been home already
