16 is basically a linear game with alternate paths, I'd say it's more linear than SB.
It's main issue is fluff. There's so many dogshit sidequests and filler activities with 0 production value (as if it's an MMO, huh) that are unanimously hated.

SB has sidequests, but they're not nearly as many and that means the few that aren't "Kill 10" can have some production value so the overall game feels less cheap.

God you have no idea how many bitches are thirsty for Clive and hate the fact he has like 2 canon costumes.
He (and Jill at the very least) should have had dozens. It's a low effort way of rewarding players while keeping your artists busy.
I'VE kitbashed costumes for them, over a fucking weekend.
