I would make "Elise bad" posts as a kid but then I realized I didn't dislike anything she did, I was just saying it because everyone around me was. The worst thing about her is just that her personality is bland, but that's just an '06 thing in general. Even Sonic seemed bland in that game. I think people really overreacted to the kiss, it could have been executed and stylized better but there's nothing actually morally wrong with human x blobian, and Sonic was still kind of "alive", she felt him in the breeze.

I think it would have been received better if the kiss cutscene had two versions, giving you either Amy or Elise based on who you chose in the trial.
