NTA but I disagree. Most of the drama and tension and in 3H's story is between Edelgard and the Church (which ends up represented by Dimitri in BL or you in SS). This makes sense because 3H is loosely inspired by Romance of the Three Kingdoms, where most of the drama in the plot happens between Wei and Shu.
The truth is TWSITD and Nemesis aren’t actually central to the emotional or ideological tension of Three Houses. Sure, they’re the catalyst for a lot of events, but they don't contribute much to the core themes like the morality of crests or the costs of war. That’s why Azure Moon still feels complete even though TWSITD are taken out in the background; the real story in the route is about tragedy, trauma, and healing.

Why would Dimitri at the end of his route or Edelgard at the end of her route (if it was finished) not be in a similar state for help Fodlan move on? Dimitri would have overcome the trauma of Duscur and Edelgard's War and accepted his role as King and Edelgard would have succeeded in a revolution that forced her to bet everything for her belief in a society free of crest domination.
