Spe is basic but I don't think she's bad, she has good jokes and isn't annoying or disruptive to the plot, they could've done a worse MC.
On that note, my favorite scenes of her is actually in the S1 OVAs (BNW), imitating the speech of the Spicaman during the Suzuka arc climax was a funny bit.
