mostly how it didn't actually flesh anyone else besides Laura, and while she DID have a fuck ton of focus episodes during the summer episodes, which isn't that unusual for mid season cures. I didn't really mind (I may be a little biased since Laura is the main reason why I watched TR) since everyone still felt like they were important in some way unlike someone such as Komachi in Yes 5. who was just kinda in the background for like, 90 episodes
